Cera's    WHATEVER    Page!

Welcome to my personal Coffee House. Since this is my web site and I can do whatever I want with MY page
(It's a free country!! :p ), I decided to put a poetry corner on my
page. This is all my original poetry and I DON'T give my permission
to anyone to copy my own hard work. Please enjoy my artwork that I
have choosen to post. I hope they invoke something.

Winds of Change The wind changes it’s direction And as it does, so do you It tries to drag you certain ways Over here and downward there It will push you down It will make you fall A rise of dust as you stubble to the ground You stay where you fell Perhaps waiting for the wind to die down It pushes hard against you Sends you sliding across the dirt Deciding whether you are willing Deciding whether you are strong It seems to have no retreat, but you want to And as you hold position As you decide what to do It has it’s fun pushing at you Seeing if you will lose You have a revelation One that you can not refuse Things don’t stay the same forever You’re going to have to move You decide that you are willing You decide that you are strong You know that you can take it as you push yourself back up. You get up and YOU push ahead Take control of that wind Knowing it’s your future ahead Not letting IT push you around You may have lost faith You may have accepted defeat No excuse can stop that wind from pushing you on ©1998 by Cera

Oh Starry Night The moon so bright I sleep with dreams of countless numbers In peaceful silent tranquil slumber And suddenly a light, so pure It is my love, my heart does swoon For it is the heart that loves me true No matter what bad or good I do A valiant Knight in all my dreams I wish was real, but never is And as I sleep under starry sky My orange kitten purrs gently by my side Her love is the brightest thing tonight For my love is so far from my eyes ©1997 by Cera Illusions are deadly, for they have no flaws The only things they have are seen through a foolish heart A perfection in a dream, captured in the mind Why do you invent such foolish illusions That can never be conceived by other’s eyes? ©1997 by Cera Light through the darkness A feeling of warmth Growing up in the shadows Seeing new forms Living life in a rush Hope for life to slow down Feeling adult power But fears of a child Secrets and thoughts Never knowing where it stops Always dreaming, always believing Thoughout all that I am seeing No one understands why I never lose faith I just sigh and pray, "Someday..." "They’ll see it all my way." ©1997 by Cera Breakin’ Hearts Sometimes when life feels free The world is like your oyster And it’s gotta be Then someone comes along They think you’re perfect That can’t be They say they’ve loved you all along You don’t feel you’re worth it What can you do to rid the pain they put you through You break their heart There’s a soft spot on every human soul It quakes and shakes when it feels cold It’s emotion comes and it goes When it think it’s in love at all How can you stop this frame of mind You break their heart Like a glass that shatters in the hall Echoing the crash through it all The pinging sound as it hits the floor Then the slamming of a door That is what happens when the soul is hurt The breaking heart Sometimes life throws you something you don’t want You have to figure out how to give it up You don’t want to hurt it, but you have no choice What you must do is break their heart ©1998 by Cera

Random Thought You came and gone in my life So very quickly that I lost sight But, I must go on alone Never to get forlorn I can’t say that I’ll miss you Because you didn’t stay very long I can’t say that I loved you Because you weren’t there at all I can’t say I’ll think of you all life long But, I will say you’ll remain a random thought You’re a memory in my past Not to make me more depressed No offense, but you were never there So why should I remember you are there It won’t be hard to forget you ever And your face will disappear forever I can’t say you didn’t hurt me Because I feel the pain inside me I can’t say that I never liked you Because I did want to be with you I can’t say that I’ll think of you all life long But, I can say you’ll remain a random thought And you’ll disappear from my heart You’ll only be a random thought ©1997 by Cera

Deception A girl with long brown hair Sits in the library, glasses on her head So polite and studied all the time Everyone thought she was so kind Out of school, there were parties she’d find She’d be out all night, drunk or high Off came the glasses from her head On came the sirens lights seen over head Visions can be deceiving They are never what they seem A mirror only shows one side, the other can’t be seen All you can see is the deception you want to believe A boy so strong and tough The girls with him are more than one The bully of the school, everyone thought was a fool Even he thought so too He sits in his room at night Reads poetry by the moonlight Inspiring poet never seen by human eyes Someday they will see his true might Deception hids the pain inside Never lets them see my vulverable side The falsness and the lies Is it really so bad to hid? They are interested in exploring you They only see the outside of you Never knowing all that is bestowed in you But, they still want to know you How were they able to dodge your quickness to hid? Perhaps, deception could not fool this time ©1997 by Cera
