The latest happenings on the show: Dawson and Jen broke up. Dawson is trying to get over her. Jen's ex took Dawson and Pacey to NY city. Joey and Jen become friends, during this time. Agreeing that they won't let Dawson get between them. Jen's ex leaves, leaving Dawson still broken hearted over Jen. Pacey suddenly has the hots for Joey. He tries to kiss her, but she recoils. He realizes she really loves Dawson and he talks Dawson into thinking about who he really loves. Jen and Clifford date a little. Dawson realizes Joey's beauty and his love for her when she enters a beauty pageant. Pacey decides to get in on the beauty fun by entering the pageant himself. And or the season finale, Joey visits her dad in prison. She tells her dad she loves him, after a lot of conscience wrestling. Pacey gets hasseled by his brother, Doug, for being the town screw up. Jen's grandfather dies and she looks for the comfort of Dawson Leary.
